Hoi leu,
De werkgroep Hengelo van Amnesty international heeft mij voor een komende actie gevraagd een aantal foto´s te maken van Nederland , Hengelo of Twente. En nu heb al wel heel veel foto´s, maar omdat ik een goedkoop treinkaartje van de Appie hijn had en ik nog vakantie had wilde ik nog eens een keer naar Den Haag de stad waar onze regering zetelt.
Om daar eens wat foto´s te maken van mooie gebouwen zoals de gevangenispoort, het Vredespaleis en het Binnenhof.
Ik ben om even na 07.00uur vertrokken met de trein vanaf het station Hengelo. En zo tegen half tien kwam ik op het Centraal station van Den Haag aan. Het was goed weer en ik had me voorgenomen om vandaag er maar eens lekker op los te fotograferen.
Het eerst ging ik naar het Binnenhof om eens met eigen ogen te aanschouwen waar onze vertegenwoordigers zich van ons geld op het pluche hun tijd zitten te verdoen met het bedenken hoe men de arbeiders nog meer kan uitmelken.
Toen ik daar aankwam zag ik het eerst het Mauritshuis wat een museum is. En direct daar na zag ik de eerste poort dat de toegang verschaft tot het binnenhof.
Eenmaal op het binnenhof aangekomen herkende ik veel van de gebouwen die we wel eens zien op de tv zoals de deuren waardoor onze bewindslieden in of uit liepen maar ook het gebouw van de Ridderzaal. En al lopende kwam ik weer aan de andere kant van het Binnenhof bij de poortjes naar het Buitenhof zeg maar de voorkant van de gebouwen. Ik heb een wandeling gemaakt om de hofvijver en nou zag ik ook een rond torentje maar of dat nou het torentje van onze minister-president is?
Daarna ben ik naar het Vredespaleis gelopen en dan kom je vanzelf langs het paleis Noordeinde, en langs de vele consulaten en ambassades die Den Haag rijk is. uit eindelijk kam ik bij het Vredespaleis.
Het vredespaleis een groot en mooi gebouw Jammer dat er geen bezichtiging was maar goed als u even naar http://www.vredespaleis.nl gaat dan kunt u alles zien en lezen over het vredespaleis.
Bij het vredespaleis is ook de vredesvlam een monument met een eeuwig brandende vlam met daar om heen zijn stenen gelegd door 196 naties van de 5 continenten en over de gehele wereld branden deze vlammen voor de vrede van alle mensen . voor meer info surft u naar: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eeuwige_vredesvlam.
Na het vredespaleis wat druk bezocht werd door de vele toeristen uit verschillende landen ben ik weer terug richting het centrum gegaan onderweg kwam ik langs de paleistuinen , een prachtig park .
daarna heb ik eerst een kopje koffie gedronken en wat eten genuttigd en ben ik daarna naar de gevangenispoort gegaan om de galerij van Prins Willem V en het museum de Gevangenispoort met een rondleiding te bezoeken.
Je kan een combinatiekaart kopen die toegang geeft voor beiden kost €.10,- wat wel de moeite waard is. Wel moet ik zeggen dat de galerij mooi is maar de rondleiding door de gevangenispoort me wel het meeste is bijgebleven. Wat voor wrede dingen mensen vroeger wel niet deden met gevangenen en verdachten hier is verschrikkelijk. Overigens moet ik er wel bij vermelden dat gevangenen en verdachten en vaak ook onschuldigen heden ten dage nog wel zeer slecht worden behandelt in vele landen.
Maar goed dat dit nu niet meer zo in ons land wordt gedaan. Zo liet de man die ons rondleidde ons diverse werktuigen zien om de gevangenen tot een bekentenis te dwingen zoals een pijnbank en duimschroeven stempels om te brandmerken zwaarden en messen om lichaamsdelen af te snijden dan wel af te hakken. Ook liet hij de cellen zien waar in de gewone man/vrouw verbleef tijdens zijn /haar hechtenis. nou dat waren 3 donkere hokken voor 16 mensen zonder ramen maar wel met tralies waarin eerst mannen en vrouwen bij elkaar verbleven. later werden de mannen en de vrouwen van elkaar gescheiden. Want je kunt wel na gaan wat er gebeurde als je als vrouw tussen al die mannen zat.
Ook was er een houten secreet (kakdoos) en je kunt wel na gaan dat het er in de zomer erg stonk en broeierig warm was maar in de winter was het er steen koud want er waren geen ramen voor de tralies en de koude wind kon zo naar binnen.
Nee je was echt slecht af als je vroeger gevangen werd genomen daar in de Gevangenispoort.

En daarna heb ik nog wat door de stad gewandeld en ben op diverse andere bezienswaardigheden gekomen zoals de Grote kerk, de Chinese wijk en de Passage en het Spui het oude stadhuis en ik weet wel dat ik veel dingen niet heb gezien maar misschien komt dat nog wel eens op een andere dag in de toekomst.
Wat me ook op viel waren de vele hoge nieuwbouw torens echt iets wat je hier in Hengelo niet ziet maar erg kleurrijk waren . Ik vond ze in ieder geval heel mooi.
Iets na 18.00uur ben ik weer met de trein vertrokken richting Hengelo al waar ik om goed half negen weer aan kwam met veel gemaakte foto´s en een grote indruk die Den Haag op mij heeft achter gelaten.
Mensen ik heb wat foto´s toe gevoegd en zou zeggen kijkt u er maar eens na .

And now I have very many pictures, but because I had a cheap train ticket from the Appie hijn and I still had vacation, I wanted once again go to The Hague, the city where our government is based.

I am just after 07.00uur departed by train from the station of Hengelo. And so at half past nine I arrived at Central Station Den Haag. The weather was fine and I had planned for today, only to shoot off a rest on.
The first time I went to the Courtyard to agree with your own eyes where are our representatives of our money on plush seating to waste their time thinking about how we can further exploit the workers.
When I arrived I saw the first one what the Mauritshuis museum. And right there after I saw the first gate that provides access to the courtyard.

And though I came running back to the other side of the Courtyard at the gates to the Buitenhof say the front of the building. I have a hike to the Hofvijver and now I saw a round tower, but whether it’s the tower of our Prime Minister?
Then I walked to the Peace Palace and you’ll get past the Noordeinde Palace, and along the many consulates and embassies that enrich the city. I finally came from the Peace Palace.

After the Peace Palace which was frequented by many tourists from different countries, I went back to the center on the road I passed the palace gardens, a beautiful park.
Then I get a cup of coffee and some food consumed and then I went to the prison gate to the gallery of Prince William V and the Prison Gate Museum with a guided visit.
You can buy a combined ticket for both access costs € .10, – what is worthwhile. I must say that the gallery is beautiful but the tour of the prison gate has stayed with me the most. The cruel things people previously did not have with prisoners and suspects this is terrible. Incidentally, I should regret to report that prisoners and suspects and often innocent today still handles very poorly in many countries.
Good thing this is not so done in our country. And then I have walked through the city and am on various other sites come as the Great Church, the Chinese district and the Passage and Spui Old Town Hall and I know I have not seen many things but that might have sometimes on another day in the future.
What I also noticed were the many new high towers something you do not see here in Hengelo, but were very colorful. I found them at least very good.
Just after 18.00, I went back by train to Hengelo all I care back at half past eight was good with lots of pictures and made a big impression on me that The Hague has left.
